Donovan Ervin

Donovan Ervin is a seeker of truth and justice. Originally from Garland, Texas, he earned his BA from Stanford University and then taught English in Brazil for a year. After a few years in Chicago, Donovan moved back to Dallas, where he spends time with his family and friends when he’s not working as a nonprofit professional. Donovan is always looking for opportunities to grow, give, and relate.

Before joining SVP’s staff, Donovan worked as a corporate/foundation fundraiser at Teach For America in Chicago, Urban Prep Charter Academies and Plant Chicago.

A graduate of Stanford University, Donovan was a J. William Fulbright Scholarship recipient and worked in the Brazilian Amazon for nine months at the University of Western Para as an English Teaching Assistant.
