My Dad was a farmer, and his life’s principles were set out clearly by his actions. The things I learned from him were not written down, but practiced daily. Living your life as an example is probably the best lesson I could have ever learned from my Dad.

Throughout his life, John Wooden demonstrated strong character and spirit. His seven point creed serves as a great reminder for us as we keep him and his family in our prayers and use his creed as a way to consider our approach to life.

Remember John Finn and people like him who served our country with deep-filled spirit and constant humility. Our veterans and others who have served enabled our freedom of choice. Let’s put it to good practice.

Brotherly competitiveness to the extreme, a race… my older brother has the horse, and I have a bike. The spirit of a youthful challenge builds character and rekindles what we need to continue to do in our lives as we age.
