I bet, young leaders read a lot. They are hungry, they need more information to learn and follow, they search for inspiration and practical advice on leadership, they keen on everything that could develop them and make them much better than they are now.
I like reading. I’ve read many books on leadership, and some of them were really worth checking. Most of them give practical advice on becoming a leader and improving your leadership skills. But are you sure you know WHO a real leader is and HOW he should look like?
Advice of all writing gurus will not help you understand this, if they are not true leaders themselves. And before following all their practical tips on where to go and what to start with, every Millennial would better listen to real experts on leadership in order to see the nature of a true leader and understand whether he is ready to work hard to become one of them.
Here are 25 inspiring quotes to help you understand a leader better:
1 – “Leaders are made, they are not born. They are made by hard effort, which is the price which all of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile.” — Vince Lombardi

3 – “Leaders are people who do the right thing; managers are people who do things right.” — Warren G. Bennis

6 – “Good leaders make people feel that they’re at the very heart of things, not at the periphery.” — Warren G. Bennis

Leadership for Millennials
Do you recognize yourself here? Can you call yourself a true leader after reading all those quotes? Regardless of your answer, here is a wonderful saying of Abraham Lincoln to finish this article with:
“Whatever you are, be a good one.”
And this is true indeed.
What quotes on leadership would you add into the mix?

25 Quotes On Leadership For Millennials To Keep In Mind
Isn’t #24 Tom Sawyer? 😉
These are all great leadership quotes, Alex , in addition to being great leaders!
I would just add that my leadership mantra is being authentic and true to your core values and beliefs. If we stick with who we are and care passionately about helping others, we can lead from wherever we are.
Thank you for your comment, Terri!
A true leader should have many different quolities for sure, but when it comes to inspiration, there is nothing better than reading some great opinions of other world-famous leaders to motivate yourself when you have bad days or something.
I like your point as for sticking with who we are, and I totally agree with that. Being himself is quite important for a leader if he wants to become a true leader actually. I think it’s impossible to be a good leader if you do not know and understand yourself.
If I understand your business model correctly, you provide a service where students can pay to have someone else do their assigned work and represent it as their own. If this is correct, isn’t it a bit disingenuous to be promoting leadership qualities?
Thanks for your comment… emmm… Dstrahm (?)!
First of all, I would like to say that it is not my business model because, I write for this blog as a freelancer, and my task here is to inspire people on writing, to help them come up with great ideas for their writings (including academic papers of course), and to share some tips on writing and college life survival. From my side, I can’t see anything bad here, and I really hope that my writing experience will help someone to improve their skills.
I do like the process of writing, I always search for inspiration, I like creative and successful people. The leaders whose quotes I use in this article inspire me much, that’s why I’ve decided to share them with the readers of this wonderful blog. I hope you’ve liked them too and found them inspiring for yourself!
